Your donation today can deliver life-saving food to a child like mine. Please, don't look away.
My name is Samah Matar. The voice you just heard… that is me. Those are my sons, Yousuf and Amir, crying in the background. Their cries are the soundtrack of my life now. A constant, aching reminder of my failure as a mother to do the most basic thing: feed them.
Before this, they were healthy boys. They ate fruits, vegetables, yogurt. They had bright eyes and energy to play. Now, their bodies are small and weak. Their eyes are tired. They have malnutrition. The doctor tells me this, but I already know. I see them wasting away in front of me.

All day, every day, it is the same question: “Mama, is there bread? Mama, is there bread?”
And every time, my heart shatters again. I have to tell them, “No, my loves. Not today.” I have to stop them from crying, not because I am cruel, but because I am terrified. Crying burns the few calories they have left. How do you explain that to a child? How do you explain there is a war and the world has let the food run out?

I am not the only mother living this nightmare. This is happening to thousands of us. We are told this is now a famine.
My children are not just hungry; they are starving. Their bodies are starting to shut down.
There are no nutritional supplements, no high-calorie foods left. We survive on little more than tea and a scrap of bread if we are lucky.
1.8 million people in Gaza are facing starvation right now. This is not an accident. The food is there, in trucks, but it cannot reach us.

I am begging you, from one human to another, do not let my children become a statistic.
Your donation is not just money. It is a lifeline.
$50 can provide a emergency food parcel with nutritious staples for a family for a week.
$100 can supply life-saving therapeutic milk for a severely malnourished child like my Amir for a month.
$250 can help fund the mobile health clinics that brave the dangerous roads to reach us with treatment and supplies.
You can put a stop to the question, “Mama, is there bread?” You can help answer it with a desperate, grateful, “Yes.”

My sons do not have time for politics. They only have time for survival. They are running out of that time.
Please. I am sharing my story because I have no other choice. I am using my voice because my children’s voices are too weak to be heard.
Be the reason a mother in Gaza can finally say “yes.” Donate now.
Your compassion can transform a family's future. Every donation directly supports emergency food aid, medical care, and shelter for children and families in Gaza. Together, we can be the hope that saves lives today.

In times of crisis, every person deserves help, hope, and dignity. Rooted in our faith, we are committed to being a hands-on source of light for communities shattered by disaster. We provide not just emergency food, healthcare, and shelter, but also the profound message that they are not forgotten.
We are the channel that faithfully connects your generosity to those who need it most. 100% of your donation designated for crisis response delivers critical, life-sustaining aid to families, upholding their dignity and affirming our shared humanity.
